Founded by a group of passionate individuals united by their love for tequila and music, Música is more than just a spirits company; it's a celebration of authentic Mexican traditions and a commitment to community. Our journey began with the dream of creating a tequila that not only embodies the spirit of Mexico but also supports the arts and music programs that enrich our lives.

These core values drove our founders Chris and Geri to Jalisco Mexico in 2018. Their quest to respect the rich cultural heritage of tequila and create an authentic brand that our families could be proud of, took years of dedication, hard work and passion. This journey led them to second generation Master Tequilero Hugo Yerenas Dominguez and his family at IBEV Casa Tequilera in Amatitan, Jalisco, Mexico.
As the Master Tequilero, Hugo ensures that every agave is harvested at its peak ripeness, carefully selecting only the finest plants to achieve the perfect flavor profile. His commitment to traditional methods preserves the rich heritage of the land, infusing every bottle with authenticity and a deep connection to Mexico’s cultural roots. Hugo’s passion transcends language, shining through in the exceptional quality of Música Tequila. Our other family members in Jalisco include Jaime, Emmanuel and Fabián along with the rest of the team.
Chris, our CEO, brings a unique perspective as an engineer, musician, and music producer. His travels around the world have shown him how music can unite people from diverse walks of life, ethnicities, and cultures. Our co-founder and CFO, Geri Andrews, brings a wealth of business, finance, product and marketing expertise to the heart of our brand. Geri’s strategic insight and leadership were instrumental in shaping the vision of Música Tequila.
Behind the scenes, we have more passionate family members, including Donna who helps us tell our story of a family passion for tequila, music and community, Rose our head of design and Brent, Conor, and Khrys that lead our marketing and social teams sharing the Música journey with the world.
Our family also extends to our artists that live the spirit of Musica everyday and bring us joy. From DONEFOR, ALYK, Phoenix Theory, Simtronic5k, and Geff Phillips, to Joe Johnson and the Bluebacks, Roddy Lopez, and Matt Hurd. Finally the team at Save The Music that does amazing work to ensure equitable music education for all children.
